Collection of used equipment in A1 stores | About company

Broken down electrical appliances are a separate kind of waste that cannot be trashed with the regular domestic garbage. Why?

  • Because it is harmful for the environment. The materials such equipment is made of take decades to decompose or do not decompose at all, staying behind in the environment and releasing harmful compounds into the soil and atmosphere.
  • A large part of materials the electrical appliances were made of can be recycled! For example, lithium from the batteries can be recycled to make more batteries.

All A1 stores have their own portable electronic equipment collecting system in place. All the equipment is collected and sent to the appropriate recycling facility for further processing.
