A1 and Onliner launch a joint project Korotkevich’s Inklings dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Vladimir Korotkevich

On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of an outstanding Belarusian writer Vladimir Korotkevich A1 and Onliner launched a new project Korotkevich’s Inklings. The fairytales of the famous classic writer will over seven weeks appear on a special page of the portal dubbed by the famous Belarusian theatric actors.

 

Well-known Belarusian masters of theatrical performance Alexander Podobed, Zoya Belohvostik, Georgy Malyavsky, Elena Sidorova, Natalia Kochetkova, Kristina Drobish and Roman Podolyako managed to depict authentic atmosphere of the fairytales, their pleasantry, people’s morality, poetry and delicacy, affluence and unique writing style.

Vladimir Korotkevich’s creative works is a true treasure of Belarusian literature of the 20th century. He worked as a prosaic, poet, playwright, publicist, literary critic, translator, scriptwriter and essayist. Children’s fairytales our literature can be proud of is a big and significant part of his early creativity. The special feature of the project Korotkevich’s Inklings is that the fairytales of the prominent writer narrated by the stars of Belarusian theatrical stage get a new life enriched by creative inspiration from their famous reciters.

 

“Korotkevich’s Inklings is a part of information campaign #Karatkevich90 organized by A1 for the anniversary of Belarusian writer. We want to remind of one of the brightest figures of the local literature via a series of online projects and events. Korotkevich’s heritage is an important part of the national cultural Belarusian heritage. And through our project children and adults can more and more get to know interesting fairytales”, - noted Nikolai Bredelev, head of A1 PR.

 

The first fairytale podcast of the project is A Fish Tsar performed by Belarusian honored artist Alexander Podobed. Korotkevich’s Inklings will be released every Friday over seven weeks.

We have successfully realized a number of special integrated projects including the first season of the project Inklings dedicated to children’s folk fairytales. We could not miss such a landmark date like 90th anniversary of Vladimir Korotkevich for which we have prepared a series of publications related to the figure of a well-known Belarusian writer,” – emphasized Nikolai Kozlovich, Onliner chief editor.

 

Korotkevich’s Inklings for organizers is a project related to corporate social responsibility aimed at popularization of little-known creative works by Vladimir Korotkevich, support of the national language and culture.
