Keeping the pace for 25 years: A1 celebrated its birthday with a free show, attracting tens of thousands of spectators

About Company

To celebrate its 25th anniversary and to thank its subscribers for their long-standing loyalty, A1 held a large free concert, attended by about 40,000 people.

The celebration took place on June 8 near the Sports Palace. Guests spent the first half of the day at the site of the VOKA online cinema, where they could participate in film quizzes, win prizes, and watch all kinds of movies.

The core of the event was the evening concert program "A1's 25 years: World hits", which included popular songs that had topped the charts over the past 25 years. They were performed by the participants of the Belarusian music talent show "Factor.BY", Nicole Furgal, Viktoriya Poplevchenkova and Sasha Shimulevich, cover bands Friends and Iodo Band, Merab Amzoevi and DJ duo Swanky Tunes. The feast ended with spectacular and colorful fireworks.

"25 years of operation is a significant date in А1 history. We tried to make our birthday memorable as a big beautiful present to the city and our customers. We are grateful to those who came to feel the festive atmosphere with us," said Yuri Levdansky, Senior Director for Commerce at A1.

To make the guests feel comfortable, there was a food court on site all day, as well as playgrounds for everyone. A1 also held a dance flash mob, right from the stage, explained how to connect high-speed mobile and home Internet to the visitors, and even invited them to work.

The show was broadcast live on the VOKA online cinema, which made it possible to join the celebration not only for residents and guests of Minsk, but also for people from other cities.
