A1 provided communications and donated smartphones to the Baranovichi Central Clinic
A1 continues to provide Belarusian healthcare providers with free communications and gadgets for solving work tasks and exchanging information. On December 12, the company donated 30 smartphones and SIM cards with mobile communications and Internet subscriptions to the Baranovichi Central Clinic.
Now medical professionals will be able to use communication kits to organize the public health service provision in the city of Baranovichi and the Baranovichi region, manage the uninterrupted operation of outpatient departments, outpatient clinics and medical and obstetric centers in rural areas.
"In line with the ESG strategy of environmental, social and corporate governance, A1 strives to implement modern technologies in all areas of life, to help as many people as possible discover new opportunities for themselves. Online communications are of particular importance for the healthcare sector, since they allow medical personnel to exchange information in the most efficiently optimized way. Therefore, we hope that the communication kits provided by A1 will simplify and speed up the resolution of work tasks for the polyclinic staff," noted the A1 representatives.
This is not the first time A1 provides communication kits to Belarusian healthcare institutions free of charge. Thus, back in 2020 the company provided Belarusian healthcare workers engaged in preventing the spread of COVID-19 with smartphones and free mobile communication at work to help solve urgent work tasks and ensure information exchange. Back then, 500 communication kits were donated to the Republican Center for Organization of Medical Response.
This approach allows to minimize the use of personal smartphones by medical personnel and speed up the process of data exchange between doctors and other staff members in hospitals and outpatient clinics to provide medical care to patients as quickly as possible.
"We are grateful to A1 for the opportunity to provide our staff with mobile communications and are confident that it will help us organize the public health service provision as efficiently as possible. After all, timely information exchange plays a particularly important role in consultations and treatment of patients who come to us," noted Anatoly Viktorovich Spirido, Deputy Chief Physician for Medical Services of the Baranovichi Central Clinic.
