А1 warns about fraud attempts
A1 Unitary Enterprise notifies its customers about occurrences of fraud attempts using the company's name.
If you have received a message from an unknown address, number or a channel that is not an official channel of the company, inviting you to participate in a prize draw, do not click on the links in the message. For the purpose of fraud prevention, we suggest learning about the types of fraud, which can be found in a dedicated section on the A1 website and follow a number of simple recommendations:
1) Never send your passwords, social security numbers or bank data via e-mail, web pages or messages to unfamiliar or suspicious recipients.
2) Check whether the sender's address corresponds to the official domain or website. Fraudsters often use similar e-mail addresses or website URLs with insignificant changes.
3) Be especially cautious if the letter has a sense of urgency and threat, for example, demanding you to reply urgently to avoid blocking of your account. It is used to force you to panic and provide the required information.
4) Fraudsters often make grammatical mistakes or misprints in their messages – stay cautious about that.
If you have become victim of a fraud attempt, please report immediately to law enforcement agencies via the telephone number 102.
Information about current activities of A1 can be found on the website A1.by, company's official pages on the social networks Facebook, Vkontakte and Odnoklassniki, as well as via the single contact center phone number – 150.
