А1 has given a tour around the company for the children under care of the Belarusian Children's Fund

On August 16, А1 showed the company's premises to schoolchildren under care of the Belarusian Children's Fund. The kids visited the company to see with their own eyes how one of the most major providers of telecommunication services, ICT and content services carries its business.

The first place to visit was the company's head office, А1 Center, located at Internatsionalnaya street. The children were told how the company ensures operation of mobile and landline networks, stores data, manages points of sale throughout the country, and what is the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Strategy for, which provides for taking care of the environment and facing significant social challenges. It is due to the ESG strategy that child support such as support to the Belarusian Children's Fund has been one of A1's key focus areas over the years.

During the tour, the children learnt which professions were the most in-demand in the company and saw how the modern open space in the company operated. The participants of the tour also visited unique locations: A1 Garden on the roof and A1's Inclusive Coffee Shop, the first place in Minsk with a barrier-free environment not only for visitors, but also for the employees.

The final location of the tour was A1's Data Center located at Tankovaya street, where information is stored and processed. The center ensures operation of web portals and carries out complex calculations. The children who were senior school students had the opportunity to witness the reliability of one of the largest data processing centers in Belarus operating at Tier III resiliency which means that the system resiliency is extremely high.
