A1 implemented a new possibility of SIM-card activation for individual entrepreneurs, and will also expand the list of tariff plans for SIM-to-go kits in the dealer network

А1 expanded the capabilities of the SIM-to-go kit for individual entrepreneurs who want to connect to the network by themselves: now they can remotely activate new numbers without visiting the company's store. In addition, prepaid tariff plans, sold in the dealer network, will become available as part of the kit.

A new feature of the SIM-to-go kit that is available right now is the possibility for individual entrepreneurs to remotely activate new SIM cards. No documents are required to purchase the kit, and its cost will be credited to the subscriber number at the moment of activation. It can be done within one year from the moment of purchasing the SIM-to-go.

An individual entrepreneur can choose a suitable tariff plan directly in the app, right in the process of SIM card activation. The following offers will be available:

- for voice communication and Internet access;
- for unlimited Internet access at the selected speed;
- for data transfer between devices (M2M).

The new number can be activated and the contract for telecommunication services signed via the My A1 mobile app, at any convenient time, without the need to go to the A1 store in person. Apart from a passport, individual entrepreneurs will only need a certificate of registration.

To start, you need to scan the barcode on the SIM card from the SIM-to-go package and then follow the step-by-step instructions by selecting the registration branch for individual entrepreneurs. For successful activation, you need to allow the app to access the location, the device's camera and sending push notifications. The whole procedure takes about 10 minutes. The subscriber will be informed by a push notification that the number is active and can be used. The notification will be sent no later than 24 hours after registration of the SIM-to-go kit.

New features will also be available for other individual customers: starting from November 21, 2022, when buying a SIM-to-go kit, in addition to the existing tariff plans, they will be able to choose the following prepaid tariffs: "No Limit 2.0", "Drive 5", "Drive 20", and "No Overpayment". Their advantage is the impossibility to be in deficit.

A SIM-to-go kit with a prepaid tariff plan costs 5 rubles for a kit with "No Overpayment", 10 rubles for a kit with "Drive 5" or "Drive 20", and 15 rubles for a kit with "No Limit 2.0". After the successful activation of the SIM card, this amount is automatically credited to the balance of the subscriber's personal account with the subsequent write-off of the one-time payment for the activation of the services of the tariff plan.

A SIM-to-go kit can be purchased in the A1 store chain or from any of the company's partners (in particular, the 5th Element and Electrosila store chains, Na svyazi stores, Belorusneft, RN-Zapad and Slavneft gas station chains).
