A1 employees fulfilled the wishes of Sennen orphanage children

ESG / About Company

On the eve of the New Year, A1 employees congratulated the children of the Sennen orphanage with the upcoming holidays and fulfilled the New Year wishes of each child.

A1 representatives visited the Sennen orphanage on December 26 and personally handed New Year presents to each of 80 children. Joint efforts of A1 employees from Minsk and regions helped to create a real fairy tale for children.

In addition to individual gifts, the orphanage also received items for daily use: stationery, personal hygiene items, board and educational games. The items purchased by A1 employees were delivered to the social and pedagogical institution on December 26 as part of the "Our Children" campaign.

"One of the key areas of A1's ESG strategy is to help children. During 2023, more than thirty children's, medical, social institutions across the country have already become beneficiaries of sponsorship from A1. On the eve of the New Year holidays, the company's employees also took part in the good deeds and purchased necessary goods for the children of the orphanage", – pointed out A1.

In its operations, A1 follows the principles of ESG – environmental, social and corporate governance. As part of the ESG strategy, starting from 2019, A1 has teamed up with the Junior Soccer Club to create a joint sports brand "A1 Junior". This is the country's first experience of such a global business collaboration with children's and youth teams. Since the Family Inclusive Theater "i" was founded in 2016, A1 has been supporting its activities and has been its general partner. More than 2,000 people joined the new charity format together with A1 and took part in sports activities to vibrant music to collectively help raise funds for the purchase of high-tech innovative diagnostic equipment for the Republican Rehabilitation Center for Disabled Children.
