Eco Hype Welcomes Green Season: A1 Plants Tree for Each Unused Gadget and Gives Away 5 Apple iPhones 16

A1 is launching "Eco Hype. Green Season", a spring eco initiative for collecting unused mobile devices. From 10 March to 13 April, everyone has a chance to win one of the five brand-new Apple iPhones 16 by bringing their unused gadgets to any A1 store in Belarus. Each gadget equals one real tree! After the initiative is over, A1 will plant an entire forest in one of the Belarusian regions.

To take part in Eco Hype. Green Season, you need to sign up on re.a1.by between 10 March and 13 April and donate your old or unused mobile devices (phones, tablets, smartwatches or e-books) at any А1 store. Say your mobile phone number submitted during registration to a specialist at the store. To your phone number, you'll get a text with codes for the upcoming giveaway. One donated device equals one code. To take part in the iPhone 16 giveaway, you need to activate your codes in your personal account on re.a1.by. Users of all mobile network providers are welcome to join the initiative!

Eco Hype. Green Season is a great chance to do your share in helping the planet by getting rid of unwanted gadgets. For each donated device, A1 will plant a tree this spring to restore forest ecosystem in Belarus.

Following its ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) strategy, A1 will pass on all collected devices to be safely recycled. Since 2021, A1 has held numerous eco initiatives for collecting unused mobile devices. Over these past years, 10,000+ Belarusians donated 30,000+ gadgets for recycling. Both during and beyond its eco initiatives, A1 goes to great lengths to reduce the amount of electronic waste ending up in landfills. A1 stores have their own mobile device collection system running throughout the year.
