Eco Hype. Green Season: A1 will plant a tree for every unwanted gadget and give away five brand new Apple iPhone 16 smartphones
A1 is launching a new season of its eco-initiative for collecting unwanted mobile devices, Eco Hype. Green season. From March 4 to April 7, anyone can safely recycle their old gadget at A1 stores nationwide for a chance to win one of five Apple iPhone 16 smartphones. Moreover, each donated device will turn into a real tree: as a result of the campaign, A1 will plant a whole new forest.
To contribute to environmental protection and participate in the Eco Hype. Green Season campaign, sign up on the re.a1.by website between March 4 and April 7 and hand in your unwanted mobile devices at any A1 store. These include not only phones, but also tablets, smartwatches, fitness bands or e-books.

When handing devices in, you must provide the store employee with the mobile phone number submitted during the creation of your personal account, as the participant will receive an SMS message with the number of codes awarded for each device handed in (one device = one code). It's important to activate these codes yourself in your personal account on the re.a1.by website to participate in the Apple iPhone 16 giveaway. Users of all mobile network providers are welcome to join the initiative!
Before returning the device, the participant must ensure there is no personal data or any personal information left on the device.
Winners of the giveaway will be randomly selected each week using a lottery machine, and the results of the campaign will be available on the re.a1.by website.
In line with A1's environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy, all collected devices will be transferred to a designated facility for safe recycling. Since 2021, the company has repeatedly held such environmental campaigns for the collection of mobile devices, and thanks to the efforts of numerous participants, it has sent tens of thousands of old devices for recycling.
Last year alone, the Eco Hype campaign brought together more than 2,000 participants, which enabled the collection of over 13,500 devices and the planting of 13,500 new trees to restore Belarus forest resources near Akinchitsy village in the Stolbtsy district.
A1 is committed to minimizing the amount of electronic scrap ending up in landfills and polluting soil and water sources. To achieve this, the company stores implemented a permanent mobile device collection system that is accessible to anyone.
