A1's "Internet of Things" forms the basis of an energy control solution

Belarusian enterprises interested in the efficient accounting of energy resources consumption got an opportunity to connect to the "Sofit" system running on the "Internet of Things" network from A1. This solution is based on smart sensors and heat and water meters equipped with A1 SIM cards for data exchange with the platform.

The new solution allows controlling energy resources consumption and monitoring their current consumption with a breakdown by time, consumer groups, etc. Besides, the system allows monitoring the efficiency of heat and water meters, recording attempts to interfere with their work and evaluating the effectiveness of implementing various solutions to save energy consumption. At the same time, connection to the "Sofit" platform via NB-IoT by A1 is simple and efficient due to the large network capacity and high signal penetration (data transfer works stable even in basements, buildings with thick walls and ceilings and other hard-to-reach places). Another advantage of the A1 solution is the low cost of equipment (sensors and meters) and low power consumption.

At present more than 100 different objects in Minsk and Grodno are connected to the "Sofit" platform via NB-IoT network by A1. Anyone in any locality in the country can join their ranks today. In the future, the project could expand to the entire country.
