The Ministry of Emergency Situations will conduct exercises at the high-tech A1 Data Center
On September 10, 2024, a special tactical exercise will be conducted by the Partizansky District Department of Emergency Situations on the territory of the A1 Data Center.
As part of the exercise, smoke generators will be used in the Data Center building to trigger the fire alarm system and activate the fire warning system. After receiving an alarm signal, rescuers will arrive on the premises to practice fire extinguishing and evacuation maneuvers.
The exercises will take place from 02:00 p.m. to 04:00 p.m. Therefore, fire-fighting and emergency rescue equipment will be transported throughout the surrounding area.
A1 Data Center is a high-tech building, one of the largest Data Centers in Belarus. It is connected to the outside world via a fiber optic ring with two standalone inputs, ensuring constant availability of communication channels. The Data Center was built in 2017 in compliance with high international standards and was assigned a Tier III class, which is the highest level of security for Belarus according to the Uptime Institute classification. A1 Data Center has many certificates and provides cloud services of various types, including cybersecurity services.
