At TIBO-2024, А1 provided support to the National Children's Technopark and young game developers

From June 5 to 8, 2024, Minsk hosted the 30th International ICT Forum "TIBO-2024". As part of it, the Digital Technology Festival was traditionally held, where A1 acted as a partner of the National Children's Technology Park, supporting the final stage of the #GameJam project.

#GameJam, organized by the National Children's Technopark, is a team competition in the computer game development. In the course of the competition, young people who successfully passed the qualifying stages had to perform various tasks related to the stages of creating games on different platforms (Unity, Unreal Engine, VR, etc.), and then present the resulting products.

#GameJam included a 1v1 Dota 2 tournament. In this way, the teams were able to show both their creative and gaming skills. Ten players, each representative from each development team, competed for prizes. All prize winners received memorable awards from the organizers and partners of #GameJam.

The project drew the attention of young people to such a promising direction as game development, and gave the competitors the opportunity to show their potential in game product development and modern digital technologies.

Numerous fans and ordinary spectators came to support the #GameJam participants at TIBO-2024: more than a hundred people visited the site.
