On the procedure for compensation to A1 subscribers due to limited mobile Internet access in Minsk in November 2020
Due to limited mobile Internet access in Minsk on November 1, 8, 15, 22 and 2, 2020 (total time of poor service operation made 29 hours 20 minutes), which is related to the fulfillment of the requirements of authorized public agencies and caused by reasons beyond the A1's control, the company management has decided to provide compensations to mobile communication subscribers (both individuals and legal entities) faced with service unavailability within the above-mentioned period in accordance with the algorithm below:
- Mobile communication subscribers who are individuals using tariffs the subscription fee for which includes Internet traffic and is less than BYN 10.00 per month will be provided with a compensation as a free 1 GB Internet traffic package for 30 days.
- Mobile communication subscribers who are individuals using tariffs with a monthly subscription fee of more than BYN 10.00 but less than BYN 15.00 will be provided with a compensation as a free 2 GB Internet traffic package,free 50 minutes for calls to all networks or 100 SMS for 30 days (to be chosen by a subscriber).
- Mobile communication subscribers who are individuals using tariffs with a monthly subscription fee of more than BYN 15.00 but less than BYN 30.00 will be provided with a compensation as a free 5 GB Internet traffic package, free 100 minutes for calls to all networks or 250 SMS for 30 days (to be chosen by a subscriber).
- Mobile communication subscribers who are individuals using tariffs with a monthly subscription fee of more than BYN 30.00 will be provided with a compensation as a free 10 GB Internet traffic package , free 250 minutes for calls to all networks or 300 SMS for 30 days (to be chosen by a subscriber).
- We will provide compensation in the amount of 100% of the daily subscription fee for one day to subscribers (individuals) of the following tariff plans: "Business Class", "Share the Wi-Fi Pro", "Smart Endless", to subscribers of "No Limit", who took part in the following promotions: "Special offer for new subscribers (from 07.09 to 06.10.2020), "Bonuses for new subscribers of "No Limit" (from 07.10 to 15.11.2020), "Bonuses for new subscribers of "Comfort" and "No Limit" (from 16.11 to 29.11.2020) and "Return your number to the A1 Network" (from 21.09 to 29.11.2020) and those continuously use it with the activated service "Unlimited minutes in all networks" and write-off the cost of subscriber fee on November 1, 8, 15, 22 or 29, 2020.
- Mobile communication subscribers who are legal entities, as well as individuals receiving services under the individual corporate program will be provided with a compensation in the amount of 100% of the daily subscription fee for tariff plans with 500 MB of Internet traffic or above; mobile communication subscribers using tariffs/paid Internet packages the subscription fee/cost of which includes Internet traffic only (except for M2M tariff plans), regardless of volume or rate, will be provided with a compensation in the amount of 100% of the daily subscription fee/package cost for one day of service unavailability.
Subscribers who are individuals will receive an SMS notification to choose a compensation package from December 7 to 31. To send these interactive messages, A1 uses a 5-digit code starting with 411 (within the range from 41118 to 41134), that will be displayed on the subscriber's smartphone screen as a sender's number. The subscriber's return SMS to this number with the package choice is not subject to tariff charge.
If a tariff plan includes unlimited calls (e.g. Comfort+ line tariffs) or a subscriber has activated the "Unlimited Minutes to All Networks" package, then the subscriber will be provided with options to activate Internet package or SMS. If a tariff plan covers unlimited Internet traffic (e.g. "No Limit"), the subscriber will be offered an all-network call package or SMS as a compensation. Subscribers of tariff plans for modems and tablets will be offered an Internet traffic package only.
To choose a corresponding package, the SMS recipient needs to send a return SMS with a sequential package number specified in the SMS before December 31. Then the compensation package will be activated in accordance with the above algorithm. To use the corresponding package, a mobile Internet service or telephony must be activated.
Subscription fee corrections for legal entities will be made automatically and included in the payment for December.
