On the procedure for compensation to A1 subscribers due to limited mobile Internet access in Minsk in September 2020

Due to limited mobile Internet access in Minsk on September 6, 13, 20 and 27, 2020 (total time of incorrect service operation is 17 hours 12 minutes), which is related to the fulfillment of the requirements of authorized state bodies and caused by reasons beyond the A1's control, the company management has decided to provide compensations to mobile communication subscribers (both individuals and legal entities) affected by service unavailability within the above-mentioned period in accordance with the algorithm below:

  1. Mobile communication subscribers who are individuals using tariffs the subscription fee for which includes Internet traffic and is less than BYN 10.00 per month will be provided with a compensation as a free 500 MB Internet traffic package for 30 days.
  2. Mobile communication subscribers who are individuals using tariffs with a monthly subscription fee of more than BYN 10.00 but less than BYN 15.00 will be provided with a compensation as a free 1 GB Internet traffic package or free 50 minutes for calls to all networks for 30 days (to be chosen by a subscriber).
  3. Mobile communication subscribers who are individuals using tariffs with a monthly subscription fee of more than BYN 15.00 but less than BYN 30.00 will be provided with a compensation as a free 3 GB Internet traffic package or free 100 minutes for calls to all networks for 30 days (to be chosen by a subscriber).
  4. Mobile communication subscribers who are individuals using tariffs with a monthly subscription fee of more than BYN 30.00 will be provided with a compensation as a free 5 GB Internet traffic package or free 250 minutes for calls to all networks for 30 days (to be chosen by a subscriber).
  5. Subscribers of "Business Class" or "Razdavay Wi-Fi Pro" tariff plans, as well as participants of the campaigns "Special Offer for New Subscribers of “No Limits” Tariff Plan" (who activated the tariff plan during the period from September 07 to 30, 2020) and "Return Your Number to the A1 Network" (who activated the tariff plan during the period from September 21 to 30, 2020) will be provided with a compensation in the amount of 100 % of the subscription fee for one day.
  6. Mobile communication subscribers who are legal entities, as well as individuals receiving services under the individual corporate program will be provided with a compensation in the amount of 100 % of the daily subscription fee for tariff plans with 500 MB of Internet traffic or above; mobile communication subscribers using tariffs/paid Internet packages the subscription fee/cost of which includes Internet traffic only, regardless of volume or rate, will be provided with a compensation in the amount of 100 % of the daily subscription fee/package cost for one day of service unavailability.

 

Subscribers who are individuals will receive an SMS notification to choose a compensation package from October 20 to 25. In case a tariff plan covers unlimited calls (e.g. "Comfort+" tariffs), the subscriber will be able to activate the Internet traffic package only. If a tariff plan covers unlimited Internet traffic (e.g. "No Limits"), the subscriber will be offered an all-network call package only as a compensation. Subscribers of tariff plans for modems and tablets will be offered an Internet traffic package only.

 

To choose a corresponding package, the SMS recipient needs to send a return SMS with a sequential package number specified in the SMS. Then the compensation package will be activated in accordance with the above algorithm. To use the corresponding package, a mobile Internet service or telephony must be activated.

 

Subscription fee corrections for legal entities will be made automatically and included in the payment for October.
