On changing the VAT rate for data transmission services

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated March 31, 2022 No. 131 “On the Development of Mass Media”, from May 1, 2022, the value-added tax on data transmission services will increase by 1% and amount to 26%. The change in the VAT rate also applies to the subscription fee for complex tariff plans and packages that include data transmission services via cellular mobile and fixed telecommunication channels.

The recalculation of the cost of tariffs, including VAT, will be made on May 1, 2022.
