Update of My A1 app – now it is even easier to activate a new SIM-card and transfer the number to A1 network
The new version of My A1 app was significantly improved in terms of processes of activating a new SIM card and transferring a number to A1 network.
The changes have affected the software for recognizing the user's face: the process is now faster and more accurate. The registration data page no longer needs to be scanned – it is enough to take a photo of it. The logic of choosing a tariff plan and manual entry of the registration address was also changed.
Moreover, the guide has been changed fundamentally: it received new text tips supported by dynamic illustrations for each stage of registration.
Thus, it is possible to activate SIM-to-go in only a few steps, which are successively proposed in My A1 app:
- Choose New SIM activation from the login page or Profile tab
- Select SIM-to-go
- Scan the barcode on the SIM card
- Choose tariff plan
- Scan passport, following the steps offered
- Pass face recognition verification
- Sign the registration form
- Wait for push-notification of successful activation
My A1 is an application allowing users to control financial information about all connected accounts (charges for the current period and last year, amounts billed, statement for the current or required period, installment management, etc.), helps activate services they want quickly and deactivate those they don't need without a USSD-request or a call to the contact center, keep track of purchases in the A1 online store.
