"Sport of the Future" continues: two tournaments in the discipline of "Mortal Combat + MMA" will be held in Minsk with the support of A1

On December 13 and 14, Minsk will host new stages of the "Sport of the Future" – a competition that combines physical culture and cybersport. They will determine the best athletes in three weight categories.

The second and third stages of the "Sport of the Future" tournament will be held with the support of the A1 company, the Belarusian Federation of Pankration and Mixed Martial Arts and the Presidential Sports Club.

The phygital for spectators is a unique chance to see on one arena a continuous and dynamic format of confrontation between cybersport and physical sport. Fighters will have to take a battle in the Mortal Kombat, and then go into the octagon and fight under the rules of mixed martial arts. After these two stages, the scores are totaled and the winner is determined. This approach ensures all-round development of athletes: both physical training and improvement of specialized game skills.

This large-scale sporting event at the intersection of sport, science and technology tests athletes' skills in the phygital (physical+digital) format – a synthesis of physical and digital sports.
