Now also in Mogilev: A1 expands the chain of "Inclusive coffee shops" in the regions of Belarus
The network of "Inclusive coffee shops" opens, with the support of A1 company, the fourth facility in Mogilev in the shopping center "E-City" at 79, Gagarina Street. In the unique coffee house, the barrier-free environment is created not only for guests, but also for employees – thus, two new jobs for people with disabilities will appear in Mogilev. The opening of the facility took place on December 19 with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus, Mogilev Regional Executive Committee and the Republican Association of Wheelchair Users.
"A1 company, in accordance with the environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy, supports the ideas of inclusion and creation of a society of equal opportunities. The "Inclusive coffee shop" in Mogilev is another step towards achieving these goals. In the new facility of the chain, as well as in other "Inclusive coffee shops", a barrier-free environment has been created so that all people, regardless of physical abilities, could fulfill their potential. We are sure that this model can become an example for other businesses that would like to make a step towards creating an inclusive environment in the workplace," stated A1.
By expanding the "Inclusive coffee shops" chain, A1 aims to create more jobs for people with disabilities in Minsk and the regions. Future baristas are trained in the profession and continue to improve their skills. Three "Inclusive coffee shops" are already successfully operating in Minsk and Brest. Now residents and guests of Mogilev will also be able to enjoy coffee in an institution where every visitor and employee is special.
Therefore, the company consistently adheres to ESG principles: environmental care, social responsibility, and effective management, and develops inclusive projects in accordance with its strategy. Moreover, even within the company, the majority of A1 offices are barrier-free facilities, and the hybrid format of work allows to consider job applications including those from people with disabilities.
