A1's Cybersecurity Centre has been certified by the Belarusian Operational Analytical Centre.

About Company

The Cybersecurity Centre of A1 has been included in the list of certified cybersecurity centres. It means that A1's Cybersecurity Centre has been certified by the Belarusian Operational Analytical Centre for compliance with Order No. 130, which establishes the requirements for the cybersecurity centres. Such certification is a confirmation of the right to provide cybersecurity services to government agencies and other organizations in accordance with the Belarusian legislation.

The procedure of Cybersecurity Centre certification involves a check of the availability of the systems required for the Cybersecurity Centre to comply with its functions, a check of the expertise and teamwork of the centre's employees in charge of monitoring, response and investigation of cyber incidents, as well as those whose duties include malware analysis and prevention of unauthorized penetration into the company’s information systems as part of cyberattack security assessment. The Operational Analytical Centre predominantly focuses on the check of the centre's operation processes and expertise of the employees.

A significant stage in the development of the Belarusian National Cybersecurity System is defined by rapid development and availability of information and communication technologies in all spheres of people’s lives and sectors of the economy. In this context, considering the importance of prevention of growing cybersecurity threats and the need to consolidate public-private efforts in this field, in accordance with Decree No. 40 "On Cybersecurity" dated February 14, 2023, a multi-layered system of cybersecurity centres has been established. The system is coordinated by the National Cybersecurity Centre within the Operational Analytical Centre (OAC) under the President of the Republic of Belarus.

Order No. 130 dated July 25, 2023 defines the technical and organizational requirements to cybersecurity centres and the certification procedure for such centres. When creating a system of cybersecurity centres, in addition to establishing such centres in strategically significant organizations, a primary objective is to ensure possibility for such centres to provide services to other enterprises. А1 provides its cybersecurity services in its own Tier III data centre, one of the largest and state-of-the-art centres in the country.
