Finding Nemo appeared on VOKA in Belarusian dubbing
The collection of Belarusian-language content of VOKA video service is enriched by Finding Nemo, animated film, the first Oscar-winning hit from the Pixar studio.
Made in 2003, Finding Nemo tells the story of a family of clownfish, Marvin and Nemo. For all parents, their child is special, but for Marlin, his son is doubly special. After all, Nemo is the only thing he has left after the tragic death of his wife and all their future children. Therefore, from now on and forever, the meaning of his life is to protect and defend his son. When Nemo gets in trouble, Marlene undertakes a desperate and dangerous journey to find him and bring him home. And for the first time in his life, Nemo is allowed to act on his own and rely only on his own strength.
In order to convincingly reproduce the life of the inhabitants of a coral reef, the team of film developers had to dive headfirst into the atmosphere of the ocean depths, and in the literal sense. The animators spent hours at the oceanarium, listened to lectures by an ichthyologist, learned to scuba dive and scuba dived. The effort paid off: dozens of colorful characters, Marlin and Nemo, Dory and Gill, vegetarian sharks and hippie turtles, appear to the audience as lifelike.
Finding Nemo was a huge box office success, making it into the top ten highest-grossing films of all time, and in 2004 it won the Oscar statuette for Best Animated Feature, the first of many Pixar awards in this category.
