Another picnic from Vulitsa Ezha and А1: inclusive master-classes, open-air cinema and GPS art

On the weekend 10-11 July Vulitsa Ezha organizes the second big urban picnic. This season the festival is held under support of A1 which arranges two thematic areas in Botanical garden dedicated to inclusivity and cinematography and will present a new interactive GPS art quest.

 

All guests will be able to enjoy drinks served by Inclusive Barrista at A1, take pleasure in the company of therapeutic doggies, make mehendi, i.e. henna skin decoration, learn how to weave beaded bracelets and watch popular blockbusters about special heroes: 1+1, The Peanut Butter Falcon, Forrest Hump, Rain Man, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, Radio. A big face painting area will be organized for kids.

 

Invited speakers will share their personal stories with the guests of the festival and will talk about inclusivity out of their personal experience. On Saturday 10 July at 3pm Irina and Sergei Bondarovich, i.e. founders of the project Belonica Art for vision impaired artists will run a free master class in art and will explain how to understand and differentiate colors if you never saw them.

 

On Sunday 11 July at 3pm Dmitry Hmurchik, organizer of social projects Friendship on Wheels and A Special Route related to barrier free travels will speak at the dedicated inclusive area. Master class participants will be able to color a t-shirt Dmitry will wear at his next trip and make the same present for oneself.

 

Over the whole weekend between 12:30 and 10pm VOKA open air cinema will offer it’s service to everyone. On the first day of the picnic there will be a cartoon Hotel Transylvania and films like Maleficenta, A Beautiful Mind and How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days on. On 11 July VOKA will screen The Smurfs: The Lost Village, Kung Fu Panda, The Lion King, Mulan and romantic comedy Between Heaven and Earth.

 

Besides A1 organizes an interactive quest in support of charitable sports activity 100 Hours with A1. Every guest of Vulitsa Ezha will be able to select one of the three routes across Botanical Garden, i.e. for 15, 30 or 45 minutes, and with the help of a fitness tracker make an own drawing on the map. The duration of the walking tour can be registered on the official page 100.a1.by, in order to contribute into the main goal of the project, i.e. 50 000 hours of training over 50 days upon which A1 will grant a sponsorship to SOS Children’s Village.
