velcom is taking part in TIBO-2010 XVII international exhibition

Minsk, April, 20, 2010 – FE "VELCOM" (velcom and PRIVET trade marks), the first operator of mobile communication of GSM standard in Belarus, is taking part in TIBO-2010 XVII international exhibition and presenting 3G nework-based innovative products and services. The event lasts from 20 to 23 of April 2010, with the venue at Minsk City Football ground at 20/2, Pobediteley Ave.
TIBO exhibition is the major event in the Republic dealing with ICT services and equipment, as well as bank technologies.

  • Mobile TV in the allocated Cinema Room video zone, featuring online videoVideo surveillance, to be tested via fascinating quests

velcom business-zone shall comprise the cutting edge technology equipment: modern smart phones and communicators, allowing to fully utilize the vast 3G|3G+ technology based capacities, modems of the leading manufacturers, and eventually, for the first time ever in Belarus – Lenovo netbooks with a modem embedded therein. All the equipment is available on site for testing.
Moreover, jointly with our partners data services shall be presented within the satellite monitoring via GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSPA technology.
