velcom is the main sponsor of the BSU Lyceum’s team in the Young Physicists Tournament

velcom acted as the main sponsor of the BSU Lyceum team in the 12th Austrian Young Physicists Tournament, which was held from May 6 till May 9, 2010 in the city of Leoben, Austria.

The Austrian Young Physicists Tournament is an intellectual contest in physicist for the upper school pupils in which teams from Poland, Slovakia, Italy, Czechia, Ukraine, Turkey, Russia and other countries traditionally take part. The upper school pupils do difficult physical and general scientific tasks, presenting their own opinion in public dispute. The championship jury consists of professors, deans and teachers of leading European universities.

This year struggle for prize-winning places has developed among ten teams from five countries of the world. According to the results of three-day debate lyceum students from Belarus have taken the third place!
