One milliard roubles has already been collected within the action “It’s so easy to make good things”!

A little bit more than a week remains before termination of the velcom large-scale charity campaign  “It’s so easy to make good things”, but preliminary results have already surpassed all expectations! On the eve of New Year's holidays, on December 30, 2010, velcom announces that the total amount which is subject to transfer to the Mother and Child Republican Scientific and Practical Centre State Institution makes 1,009,210,000 Belarusian roubles!

Money collected within the campaign will be spent for purchasing equipment for resuscitation of newborns as well as expensive condition monitoring system for premature newborns (with the weight of 500 grammes), which allows tracing all important functions of the first days of a human being’s life and diagnosing diseases at an early stage.

“At the moment of the beginning of the charity campaign we estimated that the total amount would be within 800 million roubles. The intermediate result has already surpassed our expectations! We are grateful to everyone who supported us in this noble initiative”, — Mikhail Batranets, Director General of FE “VELCOM”, said.

We remind you that the action “It’s so easy to make good things” started on December 8 and lasts till January 7, 2011 inclusive. According to its terms the operator transfers the amount at the rate of 10,000 roubles when a connection to velcom tariff plans is made and equipment is purchased. One needs to become a velcom subscriber or purchase a gift for themselves or relatives to take part in the charitable action and contribute to a great kind deed. It’s so easy to make good things if it is done together!
